What kind of machine can we get?

Primarily, my business provides cold drink machines and snack machines. I do have a few coffee machines in service, but frankly it is hard to get good coffee from a vending machine so I normally don't seek out locations for these. I also attempt to avoid any type of sandwich machine because these are not very reliable and the shelf life of the food is so short that you have to charge too much to compensate for this. So the cold drink machines come in a variety sizes, usually between 5 and 8 selections of canned pop, juice, ice tea and bottled water. Currently I charge 85 cents a can/bottle. The snack machines also come in a variety of sizes but most are pretty large. They usually have space for 35 to 45 selections of potato chips, chocolate bars, peanuts, gum, granola bars, jubes, cookies etc. Most of these items sell for between $1 and $1.10. It's usually a good idea to ask your employees what type of snacks they want to have in the machines. Then we can adjust things as necessary down the road. Of course, these prices may change in the future if operating costs require. But I always do everything I can to avoid passing this type of increase on to you. I have only raised my prices twice between 1996 and 2008.
